Clachan Chaluim Chille
This is called in gaelic Clachan Chaluim Chille, St Columba's churchyard. You see stones like that (the cemetery gateposts) all over the glen. They were collected by a laird of Glenmoriston, from just in the hills, and brought in here as fenceposts, gateposts and so forth. Some of them may have come from a quarry at Inverwick. You can see that quarry marking there. They would bore a hole, and one way they had of breaking the stone was to leave them full of water and the frost would break them open.
