Chris Sharp

From Moriston Matters, Issue 22, December 1980.

News came on November 10th that Chris Sharp had died suddenly in his sleep the previous night at his new home near Reading. He is remembered as a skilled craftsman in his home and garden, and the lectern in Invermoriston Church stands as a lasting memorial to his artistry and ability. When he took over the driving of the school car for Dalchreichart he carried out has duties faithfully in all kinds of Glen weather and soon established himself as the friend of all the children who showed their appreciation of this by their parting gifts to him. Although resident for the comparatively short space of six years he found great contentment in the Glen and expressed the wish that his ashes be brought to Clachan Mhercheird. To those who miss him most we extend our sympathy.
